It's been AWHILE.....

Ok, I have officially slacked on many things in the last six months, including tracking my journey to a healthier me... I will be HONEST, I have been busy with hubby, my sons, my jobs, and other extra curricular activities that I probably have no business in involving myself in.  Well, I have spent the last two days with a wicked stomach bug (yes on Christmas day too!) and have had my share of encounters with bloating, and just not feeling myself.  So, I am officially recommitting to myself.  A coulple fo things are in order: 1) I am eliminating gluten from my diet (for the time being), and I am also going to be cutting a lot of unecessary things from my diet (that honestly, DO NOT do anything to help me or my body) 2) I will be making a conscious effort to do self-care on a daily basis, but will start with weekly basis first and 3) I will make a commitment to be active at least 3-4 times per week (by active I mean walking/jogging/exercise class), something to keep my body moving!

Ok, so I will do my best to blog my ups and downs with my journey and see what works and what doesn't work.
